Maths Short Tricks for IBPS Exams : Multiply Any Number By 12 to 19 in just 10 seconds

Multiply any number or any large number by 12 to 19

 example 1:

Three digit numbers multiply by two digit i.e 12.

First Multiply 6*2=12 answer is 12 but it require only one digit  number so we take 2 as a answer and carry forward 1 .

Second, 2*2=4+6 last digit of 526 and +  1 carry forward of last ans. so  2*2= 4+6+1=11 answer is 11 but it require only one digit  number so we take 1 as a answer and carry forward 1 . continue all step using same method and  last step only multiply 5*1 add carry forward if any.

526*12

Step 1)   6*2=(1)2 ans is 2 carry one and add to next
Step 2)   2*2+6+(1)=(1)1 ans is 1 carry one and add to next

Step 3)   5*2+2+(1)=(1)3 ans is 3 carry one and add to next
Step 4)   5*1+(1)=6 ans is 6 after adding carry digit

Arrange all ans from down to upward= 6312

7895*13

5*3=(1)5
9*3+5+(1)=(3)3
8*3+9+(3)=(3)6
7*3+8+(3)=(3)2
7*1+3=10

Ans: 102635

Note" This method only for more then three digits need to multiply by 12 ...19 w ill save you time. In case multiplication is only for two digits you can easily calculate in sec.

Example: 12*12=144, 13*12 =156,

Above method generally takes 1 to 2 minute, just think if we give our precious time to just calculating this kinds of numbers, imagine how much time we would be wasting in our examination. If we save these times and give more times to the complex questions so that we would be able to solve more questions in less time.
